FILING OF ANNUAL RETURNS AND RENEWAL OF BUSINESS NAME
The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) has issued a notice requiring all Business owners,
Company Directors, Secretaries,s and Partners of Incorporated Partnerships in Ghana to file their
Annual Returns or Renew their Business Names and Partnerships by Thursday, 30th April 2026.
A failure to comply will result in penalties being applied in accordance with section 126 of the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992).
Kindly note that from 1st May 2026, a penalty will be imposed by ORC in addition to filing fees.
The penalty structure is as follows:
a. GH¢2,000 for companies that have defaulted for five (5) years or more
b. GH¢1,000 for companies that have defaulted between one (1) and four (4) years.
To avoid penalties, we kindly request that you provide us with your audited financial statements at your earliest convenience.
This will enable us to proceed with the filing of the annual returns before the deadline.
